A leading provider of ARTS for children, our school programmes are created for the child’s learning journey and his development. We conduct workshops for teachers to incorporate drama into their lessons, guide children to build confidence in speaking and performing in our long-term Drama programmes, and even hosted school level excursions to expose the young to theatre productions based on high-quality children’s literature.

EXCURSION

Bring your students on a Theatrical Experience.

After watching a performance based on a Literature text, your students will participate in an interactive one-hour Drama session where they will explore the story further, its meanings and its many themes through discussions, drama exercises and activities.

This journey from watching to discussing to participating will help your students to identify their own feelings and make meaning of the themes.

Animal Farm

By George Orwell

‘All animals are equal. But some animals are more equal than others.’

Animal Farm, written by George Orwell, is first and foremost a fairy story, a fable with a moral at the end. It features animals that can talk and act like humans, and even interact with other humans. It portrays the lives of animals who escape from man’s rule only to be ruled eventually by their own kind.

A story that will teach your students the themes of bullying, deceit, and misuse of power and knowledge.

The Little Prince

By Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

A tender tale of loneliness, friendship, love and loss – in short the human condition. Why are we here? Do we matter? What is the meaning of life? This beautiful story answers these questions by reminding us that while we hurry and scramble in greed and ambition, we are losing our capacities for love, imagination and friendship.

A well-written allegory which highlights the important themes such as narrow-mindedness, curiosity, truth, love, friendship and innocence.

This programme is eligible for the Tote Board Arts Grant subsidy.

EXPOSURE

Drama Workshops for Teachers

Uniquely created just for teachers and educators, our workshops will equip you with some of the drama tools and conventions that you can bring into your classroom teaching effectively. The use of drama in education breaks down the monotony of learning through conventional methods, making learning interactive, experiential and engaging.

Using a hands-on approach, we will share with you the various methodologies/strategies that you can adopt to align to your lesson plans and the curriculum. You will understand how these tools can be easily adopted in any lesson and in turn, your students will benefit from the learning experience that is made more hands-on, relaxed, fun and yet enriching.
