A Story-Led Drama Workshop for Children Aged 3 to 8 in Singapore
Step into a different story each day.
This September 2026 school holidays, ACT 3 Drama Academy presents Storybook Village, a story-led drama workshop for children aged 3 to 8 at our Cairnhill and Kovan studios in Singapore.
In Storybook Village, children do not simply listen to a story. They become part of it. One day, they may be searching for Corduroy’s missing button. The next, they may be trying to catch a dragon, outsmart a tiger or discover what happens when everything turns to gold. Each session is built around one story. Children move, speak, sing and play their way into the action. They take on characters, face the problem in the story and make choices about what happens next. In the final 30 minutes, parents are invited into the room. Children share part of the story they have explored through a short presentation shaped from the day’s work. Come for one story, or attend three consecutive days to experience all three stories for your child’s age group.
What Children Will Gain

Children use voice, movement and character to express ideas and respond to others.

They make choices in role and work out how the characters might respond to the problem.
