“We are transforming the ION Art Gallery space into a stimulating environment where we want to take children on a journey of different levels. On one level, it is about desserts to inspire art-making. Then, on another level, it is about learning kindness, being giving, and thoughtfulness, and here is where we incorporate the story of Roald Dahl’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory to tell the story of a poor boy who had nothing but gave everything of himself. Lastly, the level where we leave children with an awareness to watch what they eat, especially sweet things.”
