Join our jolly teacher captain and parrot assistants (parents) to learn what it takes to ride the high seas!

In this one-off parent and child Drama Workshop, you and your child will have a dangerous good time as together, you discover the many rules (or lack of) that a pirate must adhere to!

With the use of song, dance and rhyme weaved through a simple narrative, the both of you will learn how to use your bodies and voices to dramatise the story together.

For ages 3 to 4 and 5 to 7

Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves

Ali Baba discovers a secret cave filled with expensive treasure. However, Kassim, his greedy brother, finds out about it. He then goes there to take everything for himself but he forgets the password to escape.

Will Ali Baba save his greedy brother? This beautiful classic, turned on its head completely with songs and tons of comedic moments, will delight your child and get you laughing non-stop.

For ages 3 to 4

Our very interactive week-long workshop will provide your child with many moments to explore and express himself. Under the guidance of our Drama Teacher in role, he will enjoy singing as well as learning simple but important drama tools required to tell the story through movement and voice.

And to end it all, cooperating with other children, he will shine through with confidence in a finale performance for family and friends.

For ages 5 to 7

In this 5-day workshop, your child will be given the freedom to imagine, explore and discover the many ways of singing, telling a story, and entertaining a live audience on the last day. Learning to work together with other children, they will share ideas as they gain newfound skills in performing.

Through role-playing, mime, movement and improvisational activities, your child will also learn about stage presence and what it takes to make a show.

For ages 8 to 10

Aladdin and The Wonderful Lamp

Aladdin is a penniless and lazy boy who is tricked by a magician into finding a magic lamp hidden in a cave. After he gets trapped in the cave, he accidentally releases the genie who lives in the lamp. With the help of the magic genie, Aladdin finally escapes from the magician and becomes a wealthy prince.

In this musical drama workshop, your child will learn the skills needed to sing, dance and act. Using his imagination and ingenuity, he will cooperate with the other children to create the world of Aladdin in order to tell it through song, dance and dramatisation. At the end of the week, they will present, to an intimate group of family and friends, the hard work and effort they put into their final showcase.

For ages 11 to 15

Sinbad

A group of students volunteering for a school project stumble upon a box which reads Do Not Touch. Curious, they open it and discover seven items, each representing one of the seven voyages of Sinbad. When they pick up the items, immediately, they are transported into the world of the famous sailor where they come face to face with the most amazing characters like a whale-island, a man-eating giant, mythical rocs, cannibals and more!

In this 5-day workshop, your teen will learn to physicalise the story with creative actions and collaborate together with other teenagers to share their thoughts and visions of what they want in their final product. Learning drama skills such as body improvisation, role-playing, mime and tableaux, these young adults will push their bodies to the limit and showcase their imagination, creativity and a deeper understanding of physical theatre.
