Featuring five delightful stories for the wee ones to the not-so-wee ones, our workshops will transport your child into the magical world of Drama where anything and everything can happen, if you imagine! Set in a warm and safe environment, our lesson plans will be catered to each age group to acquire the basic techniques of Drama so that your child will build courage, determination and a love for the art.

Oh, why can’t we just have fun?

In this music and movement-based parent and child workshop, you and your little one will spend a full 60 minutes imagining and playing together as you invade the world of animals who love to move and clean windows at the same time!

Loosely inspired by Roald Dahl’s The Giraffe and The Pelly and Me, a feel-good tale about three animals who set up the Ladderless Window Cleaning Company, you and your child will learn to wash and clean windows together as you stretch like giraffes, fly like pelicans and dance like monkeys.

Parent and Child Workshop

Window Cleaners!

A beak full of water,
A handy washcloth.
Tell me who washes windows?
Surely not a Grease Moth!

Meet three savvy business animals who set up the Ladderless Cleaning Company in order to make some money to buy their impossible-to-find food – salmon, walnuts and pink and purple flowers from the Tinkle-Tinkle tree! Adapted from The Giraffe and The Pelly and Me by Roald Dahl.

In this 75-minuter parent-child workshop, you and your toddler will join the workforce and learn to clean windows without any ladders! Through movement, songs and simple dramatisation, your child will learn about cooperation as together, you scrub a little here and wipe a little there.

Just Peachy

Well, isn’t it just peachy
For a squashy fruit to fly?
With seven creepie crawlies…
Yikes! I think I might just cry!

Hitch a ride in an enormous magical peach together with a young orphan and seven garden insects of monstrous proportions – a centipede, glow worm, spider, earthworm, ladybug, silkworm and grasshopper – as they travel from one continent to another, float on the sea, fly in the sky and bump into strange but amusing characters along the way!

In our 5-day Drama Workshop inspired by Roald Dahl’s James and The Giant Peach, your child, with the support of our Drama Teachers, will explore and experience through imagination and play as well as use appropriate Drama tools to speak, move and embody the many different characters. And finally, gaining a sense of achievement and confidence in working together, the group will showcase their finale performance to a group of audience members.

Jack and The Beanstalk:
The Musical

A bean for a cow?
That must have been swell.
But the giant is coming!
It won’t go too well.

In this laugh-a-minute adaptation of Roald Dahl’s twist on the traditional tale, your child will go on a journey up the beanstalk together with simple Jack, his mother and our Drama Teachers as they learn basic Drama skills and build stage presence with proper use of the voice in speaking and singing, facial expressions and movement.

In our week-long Drama Workshop, your children will discover their strengths and use them to the best of their ability as they explore, create and perform Roald Dahl’s rhyming wonder in front of an intimate audience of family and friends.

Twitted Tales

But scream and scowl.

Get to know the nastiest couple ever who simply love playing mean pranks on one another, and the curious characters who try desperately to convert them into becoming better people. Just who will succeed? Will it be the all-seeing gambler who does charity work? Or the pickpocketing hitchhiker who calls himself a “fingersmith”? Or the boy who can talk to animals?

In this week-long Drama workshop loosely based on Roald Dahl’s The Twits and The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar and Six More, your child will be given opportunities to learn important Drama skills and to build curiosity, confidence and character, ultimately performing in an intimate showcase at the end of the workshop.

Bald Heads and Brooms

The evil witches are in sight.
Here comes Boy and his Grandmother,
It’s time for a fight!

In this fantasy of good versus evil based on The Witches by Roald Dahl, your child will go up against an evil witch and her merry band of followers who plan on ridding the world of CHILDREN!

Our 5-day Drama workshop for teens will provide the older ones with tons of ideas to think creatively, work imaginatively, and collaborate with other like-minded teenagers through movement, characterisation, simple puppetry and voice. Through the application of these Drama techniques, your children will build up their confidence and performative skills in a live showcase on the final day.
