From the colourful and mesmerising “Land of Toys” for the 3 to 4-year-olds to the intriguing virtual challenges of “Echoes of Reality: Pinocchio’s Digital Dilemma” for the older ones, each workshop harmoniously blends performative storytelling with Drama hands-on learning in order to make a show. Over the span of a week, participants will immerse themselves in these tales, leading to a heartfelt performance for family and friends at the very end. And for our youngest enthusiasts, aged 18 to 36 months, a special 60-minute session will whisk both parents and children into “Pinocchio’s Undersea Adventure”. It’s more than just a story—it’s an experience that intertwines the past with the present, bridging generations.

Echoes of Reality: A Digital Dilemma
5 day Musical Workshop
For ages 8 to 15

In the sprawling virtual metropolis of NeoVille, Pinocchio isn’t just a puppet, but a digital entity – an AI-powered avatar in a popular online game. This version of Pinocchio struggles with a unique dilemma: he’s achieved top scores, unlocked every achievement, and is admired by players worldwide. However, a glitch in the game begins to make him question his existence.
Are his achievements real or just lines of code? He decides to embark on a quest to find the game’s original programmer, believed to have hidden a secret code that can grant any avatar true consciousness and emotions.

Throughout his journey in the digital landscapes filled with data streams, code barriers, and rogue AIs, Pinocchio encounters various challenges that make him question the very nature of reality, self-worth, and the essence of emotions.

The climax involves Pinocchio meeting the programmer, only to find out that the “secret code” isn’t a real piece of software, but the collective belief and emotional investment of the players in their avatars. Realizing this, Pinocchio embraces his virtual identity, understanding that meaning isn’t derived from what one is but from the connections one makes and the impact one has.
