This September, join us at ACT 3 Drama Academy and witness your child develop new skills at our fabulous Holiday Drama Workshops!

Based entirely on the wonderful collection of Greek storyteller Aesop’s most famous fables, your child will put on a performance like no other, all the while having fun COLLABORATING with new friends through CREATIVITY and IMAGINATION.

For ages 18 to 36 months
One-Off Performative Workshop
Parent and Child

Our Drama for the Very Young workshops are unique in that they are fully immersive, based entirely on a performative narrative with structured play. Guided by our Teacher in Role, you and your child will go on an adventuresome jaunt through the Aesopica forest as you meet the wonderful and high-spirited characters from the story. Set to a rousing soundscape with a generous helping of sing-along songs, witness how focused dramatic action and play can develop your child’s imagination and language capacity.

Week-long Workshop

This exciting 5-day workshop will be your child’s first step towards the stage introducing performance through music, movement, interaction and lots of FUN! During the week, your child will explore physicality and actions with creative expression. Working together as a team and lead by our Drama Educator in character, the children will embark on a visual journey of imaginative play through the Aesopica forest! Join them on the last day for a fantastic showcase of surprise and laughter.

For ages 5 to 7
Week-long Workshop

This workshop for older children will draw focus on the learning of dramatic skills required to be part of a production and perform on stage with both the body and the voice. During the week, your child will collaborate with other children to explore and develop improvisation and characterisation skills, build confidence through the voice, explore action and movement, and strengthen creativity through imagination. Set in a fun and supportive learning environment, the children will engage in useful exercises that will build a sense of camaraderie, develop resilience as they work through challenges and prepare for the finale performance.
