To equip teachers with the knowledge of applying Drama Strategies in their teaching and create a different atmosphere of learning for their students.To understand that using drama in a classroom setting calls for co-operative skills, group cohesiveness and plenty of encouragement. To give teachers the confidence to incorporate these strategies into their curriculum as add-on teaching tools.
Teachers will be empowered and equipped with the skills, techniques, and confidence to apply drama strategies in their lessons or even across the curriculum.
Through these interactive drama activities, exercises and games, teachers will be able to brainstorm and develop ideas to lesson plan, incorporating drama in the classroom.
During the process, they will discover Drama Strategies such as Tableaux or Freeze Frames, Role Play, Verbalising, Improvisation and Vocal Techniques.
