Through our Preschool Learning Journey Theatre and Drama Workshops, children experience interactive storytelling that builds confidence, communication, and imagination.
Each programme is designed for early childhood educators seeking purposeful arts-based learning aligned with the NEL Framework in Language and Literacy, Aesthetic and Creative Expression, and Social & Emotional Development.
Schools can choose between a Learning Journey Theatre experience that combines live performance and guided participation, or a Drama Workshop that immerses children in stories through movement, play, and voice.
This interactive preschool theatre experience brings the classic story of Jack and the Beanstalk to life through expressive movement, dialogue, and music. Children follow Jack as he trades his cow for a handful of magic beans that grow into a beanstalk reaching the clouds. What waits above? A world of giants, treasures, and surprises. After the performance, through guided drama activities, children step into the adventure, using voice, movement, and imagination to climb, explore, and bring the tale to life themselves.
Learning Outcomes:
• Strengthen listening and comprehension through live storytelling
• Build expressive confidence and creativity through role-play
• Develop empathy and collaboration through shared dramatic action
• Experience theatre as an active learning space that supports early literacy and communication
