This September holidays, come join us at ACT 3 Drama Academy for a week of absurdity and celebrate the creative genius that is Mo Willems.

Through the use of Drama and inspired by Mo Willems’ books, we have created for younger children from aged 2 to 6 a range of possibilities for them to find their voice and use it spontaneously. Our Drama Teachers will astutely facilitate the workshops and lead your children in an experiential learning journey to be expressive, creative and confident!

Then, for the older ones aged 7 to 9, we have put together a special workshop aimed to build courage in speaking with spontaneity before a group of people, allowing the creativity to take the lead!

Pigeon, Go to Sleep !

In this 75-minute Parent and Child Drama Workshop based on the laugh-out-loud story by Mo Willems Don’t Let the Pigeon Stay Up Late, you and your two-year-old will have many opportunities to dramatise the role of the mischievous pigeon as well as the children who try their utmost best to get him to bed! A rollickin’ good time is guaranteed!

For ages 3 and 4

Bird At The Wheel!

Step into the shoes of the very exasperated bus driver in this hilarious story and discover the countless number of ways to try and stop the naughty pigeon from getting on the bus and driving it off!!

In this unique 3-day Drama Workshop based on Mo Willems’ famous story Don’t Let The Pigeon Drive The Bus, your child will get a first taste of Drama, pick up on their confidence for speaking up and acting before their parents at the end of the workshop.

For ages 5 to 6

Bird On My Head

Pig and Elephant are the best of friends, doing everything together. But when two birds happen to land on Elephant’s head, Pig tries to help out by giving suggestions to shoo them off her best buddy!

In this special 3-day Drama Workshop inspired by Mo Willems’ wonderfully crafted story, There Is A Bird On Your Head, it’s all about expressiveness and articulation as your child learns to explore the wonders of facial expression, body language and voice. Watch your child in action at the end of the workshop to see the results of the 3 zany days!

For ages 7 to 9

Tongue Tied

 On the contrary, it is quite the opposite as this workshop for older ones will help them discover ways to say goodbye to being tongue-tied.

The two session workshop will teach children basic skills in freeing the voice, thinking on their feet, and playing with their imagination to connect idea to voice. At the end, witness how Drama empowers and builds courage to speak before others!
