A timeless folktale retold through imaginative theatre, Jack and the Beanstalk follows a curious boy who trades his family’s cow for magic beans. His bold choice leads to a sky-high adventure that tests honesty, fairness, and responsibility.

In this lively performance, students watch Jack face the unknown, meet new characters, and learn about consequence and accountability. Through expressive movement, voice, and rhythm, the story keeps young audiences engaged while prompting them to think about action and outcome.

The question-and-answer segment that follows invites students to ask about the story, the characters, and the staging process. They hear from the performers and discover how the story came to life on stage.

During the 60-minute drama workshop, students unpack the central themes of fairness, consequence, and curiosity. They step into key moments of the story to explore how choices shape outcomes and how true wealth comes from kindness. Through dramatic role-play and shared discussion, they examine what drives Jack’s decisions and how these choices affect others. The session encourages personal reflection and teamwork as students translate story themes into expressive movement and dialogue.

Outsider  explores how the roles of victim and bully can shift, and how easily anyone can be pushed to the edges of a community. Three performers bring to life a story of changing power and fragile belonging: an individual is quietly excluded for being different, but when they form new bonds with other outsiders, they begin repeating the same behaviours that once hurt them. As the tide of judgment turns back on those who started it, everyone must confront the truth about harm, responsibility, and the courage to break the cycle.

Through physical storytelling, multi-role performance, and expressive movement, students witness how fear and insecurity can create cruelty—and how empathy requires accountability. The story speaks directly to the realities of peer dynamics, shifting friendships, social pressure, and the search for identity.

In the question-and-answer segment, students engage with the cast to explore how themes are shaped through direction, staging, and character transformation. This dialogue links the creative decisions onstage to deeper critical thinking about behaviour and consequences.

Adapted from George Orwell’s allegory, Animal Farm explores fairness, leadership, and moral choice. When the animals overthrow their human master to create a new order, they believe they have built an equal society. Over time, ambition and control begin to divide them.
