This March holiday, give your child a drama experience built around stories they already love, and watch them come alive through movement, voice, and performance. Every workshop ends with something parents can see, whether a shared experience, a showcase, or a performance.
Using well known stories such as Goldilocks and the Three Bears, animal journeys, and adventure tales, children step into story moments through discovering and responding. Stories unfold through repeated dramatic actions, clear cues, and shared play. Parents participate throughout the session, supporting focus, confidence, and engagement.
What your child will experience:
• Drama based storytelling using well known stories.
• Big body movement and early coordination.
• Simple sound making and early vocal expression.
• Repeated dramatic actions that build confidence through familiarity.
• Guided parent child interaction in a structured drama space.

Children step into well known stories such as Goldilocks and the Three Bears, The Enormous Turnip, and classic adventure tales, and bring them to life through drama. They stomp like giants, tiptoe like curious explorers, freeze and listen, build together, and react to what happens next in the story. Through movement and voice, children travel from the beginning of the story to the ending as a group.
The workshop ends with a short showcase for parents, where children share selected story moments through movement, voice, and simple scenes they have created together.
Through this workshop, children learn to:
• Listen and respond to cues, signals, and changes in the story.
• Use their bodies clearly, moving with purpose rather than randomly.
• Use their voices to show character, mood, and action.
• Follow a shared structure, starting together, building together, and finishing together.
• Take turns, work as part of a group, and stay engaged from start to finish.
• Share ideas and actions confidently in front of others.

In this week long workshop, children work with a well known story such as Jack and the Beanstalk, Little Red Riding Hood, or The Wizard of Oz, and turn it into a performance. Across the week, they step into characters, shape scenes, and learn how a story is told clearly on stage. They practise entering and exiting, holding focus, using their voices so they can be heard, and moving with intention so the story makes sense to an audience.
Children rehearse daily, building scenes piece by piece. They learn when to speak, when to move, when to pause, and how to support one another on stage. By the end of the week, they understand not just their own role, but how their actions affect the whole story.
The workshop ends with a performance for parents on Friday, where children present a complete story through movement, voice, and ensemble scenes.
What your child will learn and practise :
• Stepping into character through clear physical and vocal choices.
• Speaking with clarity and confidence so an audience can follow.
• Moving purposefully on stage, including entrances, exits, and transitions.
• Working as part of an ensemble, listening, responding, and supporting others.
• Rehearsing towards a shared goal and performing for a live audience.
