A Learning Journey Adventure
in Theatre and Drama

At ACT 3 International, our Theatre and Drama Workshop Program is crafted to provide students with a holistic and impactful learning experience.

By immersing them in the world of live theatre, we ignite their imagination, deepen their appreciation for storytelling, and foster critical thinking skills. This unique initiative, inspired by children’s literature, combines an exhilarating theatre performance with an interactive drama workshop. Students not only enjoy the magic of live theatre but also gain insights into stagecraft during a Q&A session designed for them. The subsequent drama workshop contextualizes the story, encouraging discussion, theme exploration, and self-discovery.

Our program is more than just a day at the theatre; it’s an educational journey that nurtures creativity, critical thinking, and a love for literature and the arts.

Aesopica

A Journey Through Timeless Fables

Prepare to embark on an enchanting adventure with Aesopica, a captivating exploration of Aesop’s timeless fables. This performance brings to life classic stories that impart valuable lessons on morality and human behavior.

Through engaging storytelling and vibrant characters, students will witness fables such as “The Tortoise and the Hare”, “The Lion and the Mouse” and “The Ant and the Grasshopper”. Each tale serves as a springboard for discussion on themes like perseverance, honesty, and friendship.

The accompanying drama workshop allows students to delve deeper into these narratives, encouraging them to express their thoughts and feelings while exploring the moral lessons embedded in each fable.

Pinocchio

A Timeless Tale of Growth and Redemption

Join us for Pinocchio, a reimagining of the beloved classic tale that follows the journey of a wooden puppet who dreams of becoming a real boy.

This immersive experience combines theatrical performance with interactive drama workshops to create an unforgettable adventure for students.

As Pinocchio navigates challenges and learns valuable life lessons about honesty, courage, and love, students will be engaged in discussions that encourage them to reflect on their own values and choices. The accompanying drama workshop enhances their understanding of the story while allowing them to explore character motivations and themes through creative expression.

Animal Farm

A Profound Exploration of Values

Inspired by George Orwell’s thought-provoking narrative, Animal Farm invites your students to embark on a captivating journey where they will not only witness a story coming to life through an interactive performance but also engage in insightful discussions and participate in a dynamic drama workshop. These activities are meticulously designed to foster an environment where students can openly share their thoughts and feelings, thereby deepening their understanding of key values.

This adaptation of Animal Farmgoes beyond a simple fairy tale; it’s a fable with a moral compass. The story introduces a world where animals talk and act like humans, ultimately interacting with humans. It is a tale of animals seeking freedom from human rule, only to grapple with their own struggles for power and leadership.

Through this Theatre and Drama Workshop program, your students will gain valuable insights into the themes of integrity, truthfulness, and the responsible use of power and knowledge. Animal Farm vividly illustrates the repercussions of bullying, deceit, and the misuse of authority, offering a thought-provoking experience that encourages critical thinking and meaningful reflection.
