Our Two in One Theatre and Drama Workshop program is designed to provide students with a holistic and impactful learning experience. By exposing them to the world of live theatre, we ignite their imagination, deepen their appreciation for storytelling, and promote critical thinking.
This unique initiative, inspired by high-quality Literature, combines a thrilling Theatre Performance with an interactive Drama Workshop. The benefits are manifold: students not only enjoy the magic of live theatre but also gain insights into the art of stagecraft during a Q&A session with the cast. The subsequent Drama Workshop aids in contextualizing the story, encouraging discussion, theme exploration, and self-discovery.
Our program is more than a day at the theatre; it’s an educational journey that fosters creativity, critical thinking, and a love for literature and the arts.
Animal Farm
An Exploration of Values
Inspired by George Orwell’s thought-provoking narrative, Animal Farm invites your students to embark on a captivating journey. They will not only witness a story come to life, students will also have the chance to go behind the scenes in a Q&A session with the cast, unraveling the magic of theatre production. To continue the journey, students will also participate in a dynamic drama workshop with activities that are meticulously designed to foster an environment where students can openly share their thoughts and feelings, thereby deepening their understanding of key values.
This adaptation of Animal Farm goes beyond a simple tale; it’s a fable with a moral compass. The story introduces a world where animals talk and act like humans, ultimately interacting with humans. It is a tale of animals seeking freedom from human rule, only to grapple with their own struggles for power and leadership.
Through this Theatre and Drama Workshop program, your students will gain valuable insights into the themes of integrity, truthfulness, and the responsible use of power and knowledge. Animal Farm vividly illustrates the repercussions of bullying, deceit, and the misuse of authority, offering a thought-provoking experience that encourages critical thinking and meaningful reflection.
